Trinity's Gone!!!

It's so...she said so on her blog.
She just...left, and went back to our old HQ...
Ulric came up to me today, looking like a sad puppy, and asked me where she was. It seriously broke my heart...
Trinity had left Ulric a gift (although more as a joke). I gave him the pink collar with the sparkly clear gems in it, saying that Trinity got it for him. He didn't say anything, but he took it...He told me it reminded him of Trinity. I don't think he will ever wear it, but keep it as sort of a memento or something.
And he's already got a black leather collar that he wears.
Poor Ulric. He stays cooped in his room, saying that he's plotting Anton's death.
He thinks it's all Anton's fault, as well as his own, that Trinity left. He told me that if he hadn't been such a wolf, always hitting on her and such, she wouldn't have left...
The mutant repressant wore off yesterday, by the way, which leads to another eventful, and scary, moment in my life. And so this weekend, me and Ulric will luxuriate by being the freaks we are.
But yesterday, as I was up in Ulric's room, which is a tight squeeze for a mutant with wings and another, doggier mutant, when Jalana said, "Red, come down for a minute." Unfortunately she didn't explain why I had to come down. So I came downstairs, expecting that I had to do the dishes or something, and when I rounded the corner, I stopped dead.
There, standing in the front door, was, wonder of all wonders...
Aleron Phoenix.
I could only just stare. It was like I was a deer caught in the headlights. I saw his eyes grow wide, his mouth go slack, and his face blanch. He could see my wings. They were in full view. Huge when unfolded, just as impressive folded. Black, and on the tips of the largest feathers there was just a trace of gold.
Jalana looked horrified, but I knew it wasn't her fault. She might have wanted to surprise me, but it was Aleron who was getting the surprise.
I don't know how long it was before I turned away and ran back up the stairs. My heart was pounding like mad. A tremendous thumpthumpthumpthumpthump if you will. Like a jackhammer. I was in Ulric's room again, with Ulric, and I told him everything. He said that I needed to inject the mutant repressant thing again, and it was downstairs in the living room, on my desk...
After like twenty minutes, I dared to venture down there. To my horror, Aleron and Jalana were in the living room, and I put on a serious face before tromping into the living room. I gave Aleron and Jalana a hard stare. With an awkward air floating around, I said, "Hi Aleron," which took a hell of a lot of guts I tell you. Aleron continued looking at me.
"Red," said Jalana in a shaky voice. "I think you'd better..." She made a motion as if giving herself a shot. But I had made up my mind, stupidly.
"No," I said. I turned to Aleron. "Do you mind if I keep my wings out?"
"N-no," said Aleron. He looked petrified. I sat next to him on the couch, and he didn't move. No one said anything for a full minute. It was Ulric who broke the awkward silence, coming down the stairs. He stopped mid-way when he saw Aleron.
"Mrawr?" he said, probably as a joke. He came into the living room, and stood near the wall. I noticed the dye in his hair was wearing off, fast. It would be completely gone by the afternoon I guessed.
"So your boyfriend has finally figured it out, Red," he said.
"Shut-up Ulric," I said.
"Well now he knows," said Ulric. "Why not explain, since he's not a freak himself."
Or is he?
That's the question.
"He could be!" cried Ulric, with those fangs of his flashing every time he spoke. "You told me he was!"
"I said shut-up Ulric!" I yelled, temper rising.
"Let's see if it is so then!" Before I could stop him, he took great bounding leaps over to my desk and picked up a syringe filled with clear liquid.
"DON'T!!!" I cried, but it was too late. The next moment, Ulric was at Aleron's side and jabbed him with the syringe, and injected him with the stuff.
It was something I was developing. It was the opposite of the mutant repressant. What it did was that it enhanced the mutant gene to that it can overcome the repressant for a few seconds. That way, it got rid of any repressant in one's body...
And Ulric just injected that into Aleron!
Shit...
But then something happened. With a ripping noise, from Aleron's back unfolded two great wings. They looked like golden eagle wings, and Aleron's eyes turned a dark gold.
Jalana fainted...
I was more than stunned. My own mouth dropped open, and my own gold eyes grew wide.
"There!" said Ulric, throwing the syringe behind him carelessly. "There's proof!"
"ULRIC!!!" I screamed. Suddenly Aleron jumped up.
"Red, it's fine!" he said. Strangely enough, he was smiling. "It's fine."
"See it's fine!" said Ulric. "Are you still planning to impale me on a fifty-foot spike?" I looked back at Aleron again. Disbelief just kicked in. There was Aleron, who I fantasized about being a mutant, a mutant. He had wings of a golden eagle. He seemed ten times more gorgeous than before, and I realized that it was his wings that were turning me on.
Suddenly, all my anger for Ulric subsided as if it never existed. I was falling into Aleron's dark, deep gold eyes.
"I didn't know you were a mutant," I said, sounding like an idiot.
"You never asked," said Aleron.
"But why were you so surprised when you saw my wings?"
'Because I never thought it would be so," said Aleron. I suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline, but it wasn't from anger. Nope, it was love if I ever felt it.
"Oh Aleron!" I cried before I could stop myself. I hugged him, and he hugged me back.
"I'm getting out of here," said Ulric, apparently sick of seeing us so happy.
For that entire stay, Aleron and I talked about our mutant freakness. Both of us were excited, and when Jalana finally came to, she was glad that everything was sorted out.
When Aleron left, which wasn't for a while, we promised secretly at one in the morning we would meet up on the tallest skyscraper in the city. I gave him some repressant and anti-repressant so he could get home and also fly tomorrow night.
I'll tell you how that was on the next post.
